WASHINGTON, D.C. – Leadership from the ERO Enterprise will participate on a panel at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's annual technical conference on reliability issues of the bulk power system Thursday. The conference, which is open to the public, begins at 9 a.m. Eastern at FERC's headquarters.
The daylong conference is organized into four panels:
- Panel I: Status of the Electric Reliability Organization and Reliability
- Panel II: The Impact of Cloud Based Services and Virtualization on BES Operations, Planning and Security
- Panel III: Managing Changes in Communications Technologies on the New Grid
- Panel IV: Reliability Issues Associated with Reliability Coordinator Seams.
Participating on Panel I for the ERO Enterprise are Jim Robb, president and chief executive officer, NERC; Mark Lauby, senior vice president and chief reliability officer, NERC; and Tim Gallagher, president and chief executive officer, ReliabilityFirst.
