ATLANTA – David Goulding, NERC Board of Trustees member, announced his retirement from the Board, effective January 1, 2020. Goulding was elected to the Board in 2010 and served in a variety of positions during his more than 35 years of association with NERC. He most recently chaired the Enterprise-wide Risk Committee and served on the Finance and Audit and Nominating Committees.
“Dave’s contributions to NERC, the Board and industry have been extraordinary. He will be sorely missed by our Board and stakeholders,” said Board Chair Roy Thilly. “Dave brought deep operational and management experience to all facets of the Board’s work. He has been instrumental in revamping our Enterprise-wide Risk Committee, providing pivotal oversight of NERC’s corporate risk management program. We are all very grateful for Dave’s long years of service to bulk power system reliability and dedication to the ERO Enterprise. We wish him the best in retirement.”
