Washington, D.C. – NERC's Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center (E-ISAC) and the Texas Reliability Entity (Texas RE) are planning the tenth annual grid security conference (GridSecCon) for October 20–23 in Houston, Texas. This annual conference brings together cyber and physical security experts from industry and government to share emerging security trends, policy advancements and lessons learned related to the electricity industry.
The conference objectives include:
- Promoting reliability of the bulk power system through training and education.
- Delivering cutting-edge discussions on critical infrastructure security threats, vulnerabilities and lessons learned from senior industry and government leaders.
- Informing industry with security best-practice discussions on reliability concerns, risk mitigation and cyber and physical security threat awareness.
