Reliability Standards Development Plan
NERC’s Reliability Standards Development Plan (RSDP) provides an update on the current status of projects and a high-level forecast of future work to be undertaken by the Electric Reliability Organization (ERO), based on the strategic direction provided by NERC’s Board of Trustees along with the Standards Committee’s and ERO’s goals. It is the primary tool used by Standards staff and the Standards Committee to guide and coordinate the development of Reliability Standards. It is also the communications vehicle between NERC and applicable governmental agencies in the United States and Canada. NERC revises the RSDP on an annual basis.
