Revisions to NERC Rules of Procedure Posted in Anticipation of Board Meeting on November 13, 2014
The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) is posting proposed changes to its Rules of Procedure Section 300, Section 500, Appendix 2, Appendix 5A, and Appendix 5B (October Revision), in anticipation of the Board of Trustees’ meeting on November 13, 2014.
The original proposed revisions were posted on the NERC website for comments on August 26, 2014 (August Revision). The comment period for the August Revision closed on October 10, 2014. NERC discussed the Risk-Based Registration initiative during an MRC Informational Session webinar on October 15, 2014. The October Revision to be presented to the NERC Board of Trustees reflects the feedback received by NERC.
A redlined version of Sections 302.1, 501.1.6 & 501.1.7 (Attachment 1), and Appendices 2 (Attachment 2), 5A (Attachment 3) & 5B (Attachment 4) is now available. In addition, two updated documents are now available: Risk-Based Registration -- Phase 1 - Enhanced Design Framework and Implementation Plan (Attachment 5) and Risk-Based Registration: Technical and Risk Considerations (Attachment 6).
